Mixed Reactions As NIMC Fails To Block SIMS Despite January 19 Deadline—Tons of reactions has flooded the media space moment National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) failed to Block SIMS Despite Deadline slated for January 19, 2021.

The Genius Media Nigeria reports that Nigerians have taken to their twitter account to show confusion and express their amazement after NIMC failed to block their simcards for not enrolling for the national identity number.

We recall that the NIMC had earlier set January 19, 2021 as deadline for people to link their phone numbers with their NIN to avoid being blocked.

Although the process has been marred with so much irregularities and disorganization, yet some have totally ignored the whole process, describing it as unnecessary.
