With the speculations trailing the intentions of The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki and his ambition to contest for the highest office of the country, the politician has thereby made an official open declaration to run for president of The Federal Republic of Nigeria in the 2019 general election.
The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has officially declared to run for the president come 2019 election under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. He also made this known on his twitter handle which he has been using to engage and update the general public of his plans and movements recently.
The SP tweeted “I have decided to answer the call of teeming youth who have asked me to run for President. Accordingly, I hereby announce my intention to run for the office of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. #GrowNigeria”
Saraki made his ambition public at a dialogue with Youth and Young aspirants held at Sheraton Hotel, Abuja.
