JUST IN: Ex- Jigawa State Lawmaker, Illiyasu Sa’idu Dundubus Dies—Honourable IlliyasuDundubus is dead. The one time speaker of the Jigawa state house of Assembly died in Kaduna on Wednesday night.

The late speaker served between 2000-2003 in the administration of former governor Saminu Turak.
According to the state assembly’s spokesperson, Babangida Hadejia who made the announcemet, the ex- speaker was receiving treatment in Zaria, Kaduna State before his death on October 14th.

He also described the deceased as a strong lawmaker who during his time was committed to the independence of the legislative arm.
