BREAKING: Super Eagles Boss Chelle Tables 19-Point Contract Proposal To NFF
Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has reportedly tabled a 19-point proposal to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as negotiations begin over extending his contract.
Chelle, who signed a two-year deal in January 2025 with an optional extra year, is said to be seeking a monthly salary of $130,000 covering himself, his technical crew and personal assistant.
According to reports, the Franco-Malian tactician also requested improved working conditions, including a private SUV with security, a secure residence with uninterrupted power supply, a furnished office for tactical analysis, and guaranteed salary payments before the end of each month.
Other demands include no interference in team selection, structured youth development programmes, scouting rights for local and foreign-based players, proper camping arrangements, and regular meetings involving all national team coaches.
The proposal comes amid speculation linking Chelle with a possible move to French side Marseille, as the NFF considers its next steps.
