BREAKING: Cristiano Ronaldo Sent Home From Portugal National Team After Red Card Against Ireland Star

CRISTIANO RONALDO has reportedly left Portugal’s camp after his red card against the Republic of Ireland.

Ronaldo received his marching orders for a vicious elbow on Dara O’Shea on Thursday night.

The Al-Nassr star lost the plot after seeing his side go 2-0 down in Dublin.

Ronaldo’s moment of madness saw Portugal fail to mount a comeback.

And he now faces an extended ban which could result in him missing the opening game of next summer’s World Cup.

Ronaldo, who also clashed with Ireland boss Heimir Hallgrimsson as he left the field, is already out of Sunday’s qualifier against Armenia.

And Portuguese outlet A Bola claims Ronaldo has now been sent home from Roberto Martinez’s national team camp.

It means he will not be in the stands for Portugal’s final match this year.

And Ronnie is expected to return to Saudi Arabia to prepare for Al-Nassr’s next game against Al-Khaleej.

The veteran is sure to be unhappy over his exit against Ireland.

Ronaldo was left fuming after his initial yellow card was upgraded to a red by VAR.

It marked the first sending off his international career.
