Priscilla Ojo Says Mohbad’s Son Was Jealous After Meeting Her Baby
Influencer Priscilla Ojo has shared how late singer Mohbad’s son, Liam, is gradually embracing his role as a big brother to her baby, Rakeem.
The heartwarming moment was posted on her Snapchat, where she revealed that Liam was initially jealous of the newborn but has now become fond of him.
The video captured the two children bonding closely, melting the hearts of fans who watched the clip.
She wrote: “He was jealous at first, but they’re bonding really well now”.
Following Mohbad’s death, actress Iyabo Ojo and her family welcomed the late singer’s widow, Omowunmi Cynthia and son into their home.
Liam has since become part of several family events.
During Priscilla’s wedding earlier this year, he served as the ring bearer and little groom.
At Priscilla’s bridal shower, Liam attended with his mother but appeared confused about the event, as seen in a viral clip where he declined a bonding moment with the bride-to-be.
When he turned one in 2024, Iyabo celebrated him with a lengthy message, calling him a superstar and praying for his future.
After receiving criticism over her involvement in Mohbad’s case, Iyabo Ojo later announced that she had withdrawn from pursuing it further.
She expressed her sadness that the late singer had not received justice or been buried but maintained hope that the truth would eventually prevail.
Mohbad, formerly signed to Naira Marley’s Marlian Music label, died at 27 on September 12 under unclear circumstances, leaving behind his wife and young son, Liam.
