BREAKING: Former Chelsea Wizkid, Eden Hazard Becomes English Premier League Hall Of Fame
Chelsea and Belgian legend, Eden Hazard was inducted into the English Premier League Hall of Fame earlier today, October 29, 2025.
Eden Hazard, known for his dazzling dribbles and effortless creativity, joins a select list of football icons recognised for shaping the league’s history since its inception in 1992. He becomes the 26th player to receive the honour, joining fellow inductee Gary Neville as part of the 2025 class.
Hazard’s time at Chelsea remains one of the most memorable chapters in the club’s modern era.
During his seven seasons at Stamford Bridge, he lifted two Premier League titles, won the league’s Player of the Season award in 2014/15, and was named Chelsea’s Player of the Season four times.
Reflecting on his induction, Hazard said he was humbled to be included among football’s greats.
“I grew up playing football for fun, with my brothers in the back garden, but my dream was always to play at the highest level,” he said. “It means a lot to join the Premier League Hall of Fame. I’m very proud to join this group of players and I think we could make a good squad!
“I just wanted to have fun on the pitch and entertain the fans who bought tickets or watched on TV. Being recognised in this way is special for me and my family. My parents were both footballers and now my children love the game too.”
Hazard’s former manager José Mourinho, who led Chelsea to the 2014/15 Premier League title, also sent a heartfelt message.
“Eden, many congratulations on joining the Premier League Hall of Fame. Everybody knows that you belong there. You are one of the most amazing players that I have ever worked with, and of course, you have to be there. You are in the Hall of Fame, so now you stay in our memories, and by the way, thank you so much for helping to win my last Premier League title!” Mourinho said.
Hazard made an immediate impact in English football after joining the club from Lille in 2012. Over 245 Premier League appearances, he scored 85 goals and provided 54 assists, lighting up the league with his trademark balance, quick feet, and instinctive attacking flair
