Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisioluwa Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, has received her grand prize worth ₦150 million, comprising ₦80 million in cash and a brand new SUV.
The Genius Media Nigeria News reports that Imisi secured her win after 72 days in the Biggie, where she competed against 29 other housemates.
The reality TV star triumphed over strong finalists, including Dede and Koyin, to emerge as the ultimate winner.
The prize presentation ceremony was held in Lagos on Tuesday, where Imisi was captured posing proudly with her symbolic cheque and her new SUV.
The videos circulating online have garnered congratulatory messages from fans.
Imisi, a 23-year-old actress and fashion designer from Oyo State, captivated audiences nationwide with her creativity, resilience, and relatable character.
Meanwhile, Imisi recently opened up on a painful childhood experience that has stayed with her for years.
The reality TV star shared the story during a task where housemates were asked to discuss their lives after the Head of House challenge.
While speaking with teammates Koyin, Jason Jae, Sultana, and Mide, she recalled that she was sexually assaulted when she was 13 years old, leading to a pregnancy she had to abort.
According to her, she was sent out of her home at that age and was later taken in by someone.
On the third day, the person’s mother discovered she was in their house, and she was moved to a church.
She was placed in a small store room that was very dark, and she was left alone there through the night.
Imisi explained that the experience was traumatic and left her unable to stay in dark places alone, even as an adult.
She said the memory remains with her as one of the hardest parts of her childhood
