BREAKING: Real Cause Of Legendary Italian Designer, Giorgio Armani Death Revealed?
Giorgio Armani, the famed Italian fashion designer who achieved elegance and timelessness through simplicity, has died. He was 91.
According to a statement on Instagram, he “passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.”
Armani’s cause of death has not been revealed at this time. In June 2025, AP News reported Armani would not attend shows during Milan Fashion Week. At the time, representatives reported he was “recovering at home” from an undisclosed condition. As more information surrounding Armani’s death is released, this article will be updated.
The fashion house says he was “tireless” and “worked until his final days, dedicating himself to the company, its collections, and the diverse and ever-evolving projects underway and underway.”
A public chapel of rest will be open from Sept. 6-7 in Milan at the Armani/Teatro. However, per Armani’s wishes, his funeral will be held privately.
“Il Signor Armani, as he was always respectfully and admiringly called by employees and collaborators, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones,” the Armani Group said in the statement.
“Indefatigable to the end, he worked until his final days, dedicating himself to the company, the collections, and the many ongoing and future projects.”
Armani combined the flair of the designer with the acumen of a businessman, running a company that turned over $2.7 billion a year. He had been ill for some time and had to drop out of his group’s shows at Milan’s Men’s Fashion Week in June, the first time in his career that he had missed one of his catwalk events.
