Super Eagles Star, Ademola Lookman Hands In Transfer Request To Force Inter Move
Ademola Lookman has formally asked Atalanta to allow him leave the club this summer, amid ongoing transfer speculation linking him to Inter Milan.
According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Nigerian forward submitted a transfer request earlier today after Atalanta rejected Inter’s initial offer earlier in the week.
Lookman is said to be keen on the move to the Nerazzurri and has made his intentions clear with a direct communication to the Bergamo-based club.
However, Atalanta are holding firm on their valuation, demanding a fee in excess of €45 million before they consider letting him go.
The 2023 African Footballer of the Year has been a standout performer for Atalanta, and his desire for a new challenge now puts pressure on the Serie A side as the transfer window heats up.
