Addressing the controversy on his social media handle, VeryDarkMan said he ordered the NGO’s website to be shutdown to test the ability of Nigerians to think critically. He said the prank shows 80 per cent of Nigerians can’t think critically. He said that’s how they bought the narrative of the Nigerien Head of State who alleged that France has a Military Base in Nigeria.

VeryDarkMan said he planned the N180 million hack show,  explaining that the money was not hacked at all. He said people were just stupid not to realize that it was all cruise.

He said:

“No body sat down to analyse that the VeryDarkMan we know if N180 million is missing from his NGO account, he would not be going to Jos when the police headquarters is in Abuja, when the EFCC headquarters is in Abuja, when the cybercrime unit is in Abuja…”
