The charity match marked the launch of Williams Troost-Ekong’s charity foundation, with many Nigerian celebrities showing up to support the Super Eagles captain.
Recently, the Nigerian national anthem was changed back to the old one used during the first and second republics.
The anthem was initially changed in 1978 by former head of state, President Olusegun Obasanjo, during his first term as a military ruler.
One of the memorable moments from the charity match hosted by Troots-Ekong was when all the public figures present struggled to sing along with the anthem.
