Nengi Finally Breaks Silence On Why She Refused Ozo’s Romantic Gestures On BBNaija Show—-Big Brother Naija reality star Nengi Hampson, has opened up on the reason she refused to accept Ozo’s romantic feelings for her.
She disclosed her reasons during one of her media rounds on Friday.
The Bayelsa-born star said she did not want to give Ozo the wrong signals which is one of the reasons why she danced with Laycon instead.
She said: “I didn’t want to give Ozo the wrong signal, that’s why I never danced with him like I did with Laycon. And Laycon rocks me wella.”
Ozo and #Nengi’s relationship was a constant debate amongst BBNaija fans, as the former consistently tried to navigate the complexities of winning Nengi’s affection.
However, Nengi’s decision to maintain a distance during romantic dances sparked speculation and fueled conversations about the relationships in the house.
While Ozo experienced difficulties in getting too close and personal with Nengi, Laycon became a frequent dance partner for her.
Also, when fellow reality stars Nini and Saga announced their engagement, some critics claimed Nengi and her supposed love interest Ozo would have taken their relationship forward but for Nengi’s “greed”. Others alleged that Ozo was to blame for their failed relationship.
Nini and Saga participated in Big Brother Naija season six while Ozo and Nengi were part of season five.
