#Tinubu Says Poverty Not A Shameful Thing For Nigerians—–The Number one citizen of Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu has said poverty is not a shameful thing for Nigerians, stressing that it is just not acceptable.

The president stated this on Friday at the closing ceremony of a three-day retreat for ministers, presidential aides, and other cabinet members, which took place in the State House Conference Centre, Abuja.

President Tinubu tasked members of his cabinet and other top management staff of the civil service to work together, change the narrative of Nigeria, and bring economic prosperity to the country.

He stated that Nigerians should find a way to dig themselves out of it, adding that it is left for everyone, including him, to navigate out of the poverty ship.

“So, it is left for you and me to navigate this ship out of poverty. We have a lot of work ahead of us.”
