ALERT!!! Amid Bad Economy, #MultiChoice Increases #DSTV And #GOtv Subscription Again Starting November 6 [SEE NEW PRICES]—-Multichoice, the Pay TV company, has announced revised rates for its DStv and GOtv packages in Nigeria.

This adjustment follows a previous price increase that was announced and implemented earlier this year.

According to an internal memo, the new prices will take effect from November 6.

Under the DStv offerings, the premium package will now be N29,500, up from N24,500. Compact Plus will cost N19,800, compared to its previous price of N16,600, while Compact will be N12,500 instead of N10,500.

Confam will now be priced at N7,400, no longer at N6,200, and Yanga subscribers will pay N4,200 as opposed to N3,500.

The DStv Padi package will increase from N2,500 to N2,950. Additionally, the company has adjusted the HDPVR Access Service, Access Fees, and Xtraview bouquets from N3,400 to N4,000.

Similarly, in the GOtv packages, Supa Plus will now cost N12,500, up from N10,500, while Supa will be N7,600 instead of N6,400.

The Max package will be N5,700, up from N4,850, and GOtv Jolli subscribers will pay N3,950, an increase from the previous rate of N3,300.

The GOtv Jinja and GOtv Smallie packages have also been adjusted from N2,250 to N2,700 and from N1,100 to N1,300, respectively.

Multichoice attributed the price adjustment to increased costs associated with its business operations.

“On Monday 6 November 2023, we will adjust our prices across all our packages on DStv and GOtv.

“We understand the impact this change may have on our valued customers and partners, but the rise in the cost of business operations has led us to make this difficult decision.

“It remains our mission to provide the best entertainment and viewing experience to our valued customers and are committed to continue to deliver high-quality content and unparalleled service to our customers,” it said.
