BREAKING: EX-Minister, Bello Maitama Yusuf Is Dead [PHOTO]—-Former minister, Senator Bello Maitama Yusuf, has died aged 76.
Yusuf, a former Senator from 1999-2007, died in the early hours of Friday at his residence in Kano after a brief illness.
A family member, Alhaji Hussani Dalhatu, confirmed his death to newsmen.

He said the late Sardauna of Dutse’s funeral prayer would take place after Jumu’at prayer at the Emir of Kano’s palace.
Yusuf was born in Gwaram, Jigawa State, in 1947. He was Minister of Interior in 1981 and Minister of Commerce in 1982.
