During the star-studded event, GOAL, approached the musician to get his take on the ever present debate surrounding the greatest footballer in history, a debate that has centered around the legendary duo of Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentine Maestro, Lionel Messi.
With the spotlight on him, Davido said he loves both players but revealed that his preference is for the Portuguese football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo.
He said: “Cristiano for me, you know, what outcomes, very, very disciplined,
“I am a very, very disciplined person, you know, and to have that kind of success and to be so disciplined at the same time is something I’ve always admired about him.
“I like both of them. But, personally, I’m a Ronaldo guy.”
The “Unavailable” Crooner also disclosed that his current favorite young footballer was none other than Arsenal’s star boy, Bukayo Saka.
