The Seagulls had the Blues’ £80million bid for the Ecuadorian rejected on Thursday.

The Blues have made it their mission to bring Caicedo to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the Blues’ latest offer has come in at £80m.
But that was instantly knocked back as the Seagulls continued to hold out for £100m.
Chelsea’s previous bid was £70m.
