BREAKING: Sad Thursday As Five Persons Inside Titanic Submarine Confirmed Dead [PHOTO/VIDEO] – #titanicsubmarine—The Genius Media Nigeria reports that all Titan Submarine Passengers have been confirmed dead.

TGM gathered that officials have revealed that the Titan submersible experienced a “catastrophic implosion” when it submerged to view the Titanic wreckage, killing all five passengers aboard.

This online news platform understands that the US Coast Guard announced on Thursday, June 22, 2023, that they found several parts of the Titan in a “debris field” approximately 1600 feet from the bow of the Titanic at the bottom of the sea floor.

NewsEdge reports that OceanGate Expeditions founder and CEO Stockton Rush, British billionaire Hamish Harding, renowned French diver Paul-Henri Nargeolet, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his 19-year-old son Suleman were all aboard the Titan.

In a statement, OceanGate Inc said: “Our hearts are with these five souls and every member of their families during this tragic time. We grieve the loss of life and joy they brought to everyone they knew.”

“These men were true explorers who shared a distinct spirit of adventure, and a deep passion for exploring and protecting the world’s oceans.”

It is unclear when or where the Titan imploded though the Coast Guard said sonar buoys would have likely picked up the sound if they had been in place.

The Titan submerged on Sunday morning but lost contact with its surface ship about an hour and 45 minutes into its submerging.

The Pakistani foreign ministry issued its condolences to the family of Shahzada and Suleman Dawood, as well as the others lost in the Titan submersible. Hussaini Dawood, patriarch of the family, is recognized as one of the best employers in the Asian country.

A statement issued on the micro-blogging site, Twitter reads: “Our deepest condolences to the Dawood family and the family of other passengers on the sad news about the fate of Titanic submersible in the North Atlantic. We appreciate the multinational efforts over the last several days in search of the vessel.”

James Cameron, director of Titanic movie, speaks out on the tragedy

The Hollywood director, who visited the wreckage on numerous occasions for recon purposes, didn’t hold back in condemning OceanGate CEO and captain Stockton Rush. James Cameron also made parallels between this tragedy and the original (in 1912), comparing how both captains disregarded safety warnings.

OceanGate statement on the death of Titan Submarine Passengers

OceanGate has issued the following statement: “We now believe that our CEO Stockton Rush, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood, Hamish Harding, and Paul-Henri Nargeolet, have sadly been lost.

“These men were true explorers who shared a distinct spirit of adventure, and a deep passion for exploring and protecting the world’s oceans. Our hearts are with these five souls and every member of their families during this tragic time. We grieve the loss of life and joy they brought to everyone they knew.

“This is an extremely sad time for our dedicated employees who are exhausted and grieving deeply over this loss. The entire OceanGate family is deeply grateful for the countless men and women from multiple organizations of the international community who expedited wide-ranging resources and have worked so very hard on this mission.

“We appreciate their commitment to finding these five explorers, and their days and nights of tireless work in support of our crew and their families.
