BREAKING: #CBN Breaks Silence In Extending Validity Of Old N1000 And N500 Naira Notes Till May 1 – #TinubuInLagos—-As against the purported news trending in media space, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has denied extending the validity of the old N200, N500, N1000 notes till the 1st of May, 2023.
This is coming after the first lady, Aisha Buhari shared information that the central bank has been asked to recirculate the old notes and make it valid until May 1.
Several APC chieftains have also followed suit as they shared on their various social media group.
