BREAKING: Thomas Tuchel Breaks Silence On Signing #Aubameyang—-The Genius Media Nigeria reports that Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel, has said that Barcelona striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, is one of his players for life because he and the Gabonese star were very close.
Tuchel explained that he has a close bond with the former Arsenal captain.
Tuchel coached Aubameyang during their time together at Borussia Dortmund in the past.
However, Aubameyang has been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer to reunite with Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking during his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League tie with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, Tuchel said, “It was a pleasure. Some players stay your players because you were very close and Auba is one of these players. Even when we played against him with Arsenal, straight away, there was this close bond.”
Asked if Chelsea would sign another forward this summer, Tuchel added, “We could strengthen our squad in depth. It’s one thing that you wish for and it’s another that is possible.
“We are looking for top quality and top personalities.”
