Financial Literacy Day: NDIC Begins Saving Benefits Enlightenment In Schools—Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) says it has started engaging secondary school students in mentoring and enlightenment, on the benefits of saving.

The corporation in its official twitter handle @NDICNigeria, said on Sunday that the mentorship would also include how to manage money.

”In commemoration of this year’s Financial Literacy Day, March 21 to March 27, the NDIC has been mentoring secondary school students and enlightening them about the benefits of savings and how to manage money.

Newsmen reports that the day has been set aside to mark the Global Money Week, a global awareness initiative, aimed at enhancing financial literacy and financial inclusion
