LASBCA Monitoring Team Apprehends Three Suspects For Impersonation—The Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) monitoring team has apprehended a gang of three suspects for allegedly impersonating officials of the Agency at a construction site in Ijegun, Off Isheri Osun Road, Alimosho Local Government Area.
A release signed by the Public Affairs Officer of LASBCA, Mrs. Adetayo Akitoye-Asagba, said the suspects wore the Agency’s reflective jackets to extort the owners of a building under construction for an undisclosed contravention when they were arrested.
According to her, LASBCA monitoring team made the arrest after a tip-off from concerned members of the community over the activities of the suspects, who swindle unsuspecting property owners in the area.
While listing the names of the arrested individuals as Adeshola Bamidele (M), Oladimeji Wasiu Bamijoko (M) and Dupe Thomas (F), the statement said that the culprits have been handed over to the Lagos State Task Force, Oshodi for further interrogation, investigation and prosecution.
