VIDEO: Festac Agog In Tears And Sorrow As FHA Allegedly Demolishes Multi-Billion Naira Houses—-According to the viral video circulated in the media space, The Federal Housing Authority (FHA) has stated demolishing substandard buildings across FESTAC Town in Lagos State.

This is coming afterhours after an article announced that the Federal Housing Authority will soon begin mass demolition of buildings without approval in Festac Town.

Francisca Michael-James, FHA’s Head of Town Planning, South-West Zone made this known during a delegation to Festac Town, according to NAN.

She warned that all efforts to stop developers from encroaching and building without approval in FESTAC had failed as the developers ignored orders to ‘stop work’, highlighting that demolition notice served on illegal occupants in the town elapsed 21 days ago.

In the viral video, the residents were helpless as the demolishing took place.
