Don Jazzy, Top Celebrities Emulate Davido To Share Bank Details, Beg For Money—-Just as billionaire’s son and self-proclaimed billionaire Nigerian Musician, David Adeleke aka Davido shared his bank account details soliciting for financial assistance from his teeming supporters, P-Square, Don Jazzy, Teni, Funny Bone, Dorathy Bachor and Ijeoma Grace Agu has trailed Davido, asking for money from their friends and colleagues.
The Genius Media Nigeria had reported that Davido on Wednesday requested the sum of one million naira each from his colleagues as a birthday gift.
In a video posted on his Instagram story the pop star said:
“We rise by lifting others abi? Me I don dey rise dey lifting others for the past 100 years. So I want to know who my friends are. All of my friends one million Naira each.”
A few hours after the post was made, the singer received over 200 million naira donations.
Following Davido’s footsteps, Don Jazzy and Teni took to their Instagram story on Wednesday, asking their friends and fans to donate on their birthday.
Paul and Peter Okoye of the defunct music group P-Square on Thursday, tagged the singer, their brother Jude Okoye and socialite Obi Cubana, asking them for money for their birthday celebration.
Teni asked for at least N250,000 each from Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Simi and others.
Funny Bone also shared his bank details, calling on his friends and family to donate.
Ijeoma Grace Agu also posted her bank account number on Instagram saying, “If I hear say I no do this challenge 1M is not too much.”
Dorathy Bachor also shared a photo on Twitter saying, “Who go borrow me one million?”
