She posits further that THT is supporting healthcare providers to mitigate the impact of the epidemic by covering the cost of protective disposable equipment, such as masks and gloves, for consultations, as well as technical support for exposure to COVID-19 related cases.

In her words, “In response to the increasing cost of health care resources and associated cost we have been able to review our tariffs and be fair enough in addressing the fluctuation in the market and these has helped us to affect our providers to give them the necessary needed quality healthcare service”.

Recall, that THT won the Best HMO of the Year at the seventh edition of the Nigeria Healthcare and Excellence Awards (NHEA).
