#Lekkitollgate: Moment Some #EndSARS Protesters Were Arrested During #OccupyLekkiTollGate—In a trending video shared online, Some EndSars protesters have been reportedly arrested today, Saturday February 13, following the ongoing protest at Lekki Toll Gate.
The Genius Media Nigeria reports that fewer than 10 protesters of #OccupyLekkiTollGate have been arrested by security operatives at the Lekki toll gate.
The protesters were allegedly detained in a black maria and are about to be taken to an unknown location.
“We have been arrested. Over ten of us. We are kept in a black maria stationed at the toll gate now” one of the arrested protesters said in the video shared.
This came after Federal Government had earlier warned youths not to protest at the Lekki tollgate today.
Other group, #DefendLagos had withdrew from the protest, as they noted that it was in accordance with the government’s directives that no protest.
