After the killings, a judicial panel was set up which had some representative of the youths, in order to bring justice to those affected with the incident that happened at the tollgate, however, the nod of the judicial panel to open the toll gate again when justice hasn’t been served has cause lots of reaction.

Most especially on twitter, some of the convener of the #EndSARS protest are being called out for betraying the trust of the Nigerian youths.

With this reopening, if care isn’t taken, another protest might take place because we still have lots of youths who are angry with what the military did, without getting justice.

Check reactions below

We cannot allow operations to begin at the Lekki Tollgate wen justice has not prevailed! This is wrong! I have always known 4m the start The panel trolls screamed at my absence for is a sham! @followlasg you have failed the young people of Lagos state! #EndSARS

They should first have given justice and closure before reopening.if they are sincere, all the evidence and fact are available to provide justice in a week,if they are so concern with reopening the toll gate..but being back to business as usual is their goal

I think this Lekki toll reopening & Sega argument is an opportunity to open conversations about how much is left to be repaid to LCC? Who is auditing the amount received?. Can it be made public? Can’t govt pay off (if anything is left) & open the toll in memory of those who died?

The Lekki toll gate is literally the govt making money from the suffering of the road users.

I was on that road several times last month and just had to marvel at the difference in the flow of traffic without the gates. #EndSARS

I swear Ay. I can't believe I ply Lekki the way I do for months now. It's been a relief after the toll suspense.
I hope and pray it remains the same.

Lekki Toll gate is providing jobs, revenue for Lagosians and there is a legal agreement between Lekki Concession Company Limited and Lagos State government. The toll gate cannot remain closed because of the sentiment of certain people.
