BREAKING: Chelsea Seals £22m Deal For Rennes Goalkeeper As #EPL Begins—The Blues have agreed to strike a deal with Rennes for 29 year old goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy fora fee of £22m ($29m) for a five year contract period, though verbally.

Chelsea’s technical and performance advisor Petr Cech and the Blues’ head of thegoalkeeper department Christophe Lollichon were heavily involved in the recruitment processfor the new goalkeeper, with his expertise having been considered.
