Jigawa state Commissioner of Health, Dr Abba Zakari has confirmed 51 Fresh COVID-19 Cases in the state

Dr Abba Zakari told Channels Television that the new cases brings the total number of confirmed cases in Jigawa to 169.
He said among the new cases are 31 almajiris who were sent from Kano state. The almajiris account for 56 percent of the total log of cases recorded in the state.

Zakari further revealed that the state will soon commence COVID-19 testing, as they’ve procured the equipment and have decided to use the Dutse General hospital’s laboratory for that purpose.
