Nigerian comedian and social commentator Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, aka Mr. Jollof, has called out Nigerian Governors that match their COVID-19 Face Mask with their attire as a fashion statement.
This has led Governors to wear the mask publicly, as a form of protection from coronavirus, and also as a way of creating awareness of the pandemic.
Unimpressed by the way the governors are creating the awareness, Mr Jollof has slammed them, according to him,the governors have turned the pandemic into a fashion parade, as they ensure they wear a face mask that matches their outfit.
“If sharing rice, building isolation centers and modeling for nose mask is what our governors can do to combat Corona Virus 🦠that means we are finished as a Nation. #covid_19“. He said.
