Donald Trump Expects “A lot Of Death” This Week As United States #Covid19 Cases Tops 300,000

President Donald Trump of the United States of America, has stated that there will be many deaths in the coming week as coronavirus cases in the US goes beyond 300,000.

“This will be the toughest week in the fight against the deadly disease, and there will be a lot of deaths” Trump said as the US recorded more than 8000 deaths.

New York state’s coronavirus toll rose at a devastating pace to 3,565 deaths, up from 2,935 the previous day, the largest 24-hour jump recorded there.

President Trump emphasized the need to “get back to work” at a Coronavirus Task Force meeting as the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country topped 300,000.

“The cure cannot be worse than the problem itself, we’ve got to get our country open,” Mr. Trump insisted.

In Italy, the death toll rose 15,362; Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced that Madrid will extend the country’s coronavirus lockdown until April 25, as Spain’s death toll reached 11,744.

In Nigeria, Lagos State, with the highest, has 109 cases; Osun (20 cases); Oyo (nine); Akwa Ibom (five); Ogun (four); Edo (seven); Kaduna (four); Bauchi (six); Enugu (two); Ekiti (two); Rivers (one); Benue (one) and Ondo (one), which was confirmed on Friday evening, and the Federal Capital Territory with 43 cases.

Globally the death toll surged past 60,000 on Saturday, according to the data compiled by Johns Hopkins University, amid over 1.1 million cases.
