In his much-publicised prophetic message for 2020, Prophet TB Joshua declared the fearful year of 2019 would extend until March 2020 according to “God’s timetable”.
Whilst starting the year in prayer at an unspecified “prayer mountain”, the cleric said on January 4th 2019 that the world would face a “very fearful year”.
Speaking further on January 5th 2020 – the day his prophetic messages for 2020 were released – Joshua explained that the fearful events of the last year would continue into 2020 and “end around March by God’s timetable.”

True to his word, the outbreak of coronavirus in China in January 2020 has sparked worldwide fears, triggered severe economic repercussions and led to cancellation of global business and sporting events.
In the video of Joshua’s 2020 prophetic message – which has been viewed over 550,000 times on YouTube since its upload – he also warned of worldwide “economic backlash”, the truth of which is evident in the sudden stock market losses triggered by fears of the disease.
In a Facebook post on 1st March 2020, the cleric told the world to prepare “to receive the Word of God and prayer on Emmanuel TV that will wipe away all fear of the unknown” – prompting hopes that the scourge of coronavirus would soon become a thing of the past.
