The Sprawling ancient town of Ile Ife agog as His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and the Iyalaje of the source, Princess Dr. Toyin Kolade host thousands of people across the globe on the occasion of this year’s Aje festival.
The ancient town of Ile Ife receives numerous visitors today, Monday 25th of February as dignitaries storms the Oni of Ife palace, Osun state to celebrate the yearly Aje festival with His Imperial Majesty and Princess Dr. Toyin Kolade.

Notable leaders who were present for the festival includes, the former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Senator Iyiola Omisore, Brazil Ambassador to Nigeria, popular Yoruba actress and actors, Saidi Balogun, Iya Rainbow among others. It’s on record that citizens from Brazil and other North America, Asia and Africa countries stormed ile Ife to grace the occasion.
The Aje festival which started around noon was featured with different prayer sections by the Aje worshipers at the King’s palce. It became interesting as the Arole Oduduwa came out around 4pm to shower prayers on his people and well wishers across the globe that came to celebrate with him.
However, Princess Dr. Toyin Kolade who is an astute lady said, Aje festival is a way to promote our culture and at the same time make demands from our creator. She was convinced that the gods of Aje will give it to anybody who believe in the festival prayer.
This 2020 event will bring tremendous prosperity to all businessmen and women, particularly in Yoruba land and Nigeria at large, she said.
It was not over as Ooni of Ife, Toyin Kolade leads guests to Aje shrine and everyone were blessed, Ooni Of Ile Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Released 2020 Aje birds and gave indigenes money as part of the Aje sacrifice.
