#JoshuaVsFury: Anthony Joshua Likely To Face #TysonFury After Wilder Defeat

Tyson Fury is expected to face Anthony Joshua next after a convincing win over Deontay Wilder on Saturday night in Las Vegas, US.

The Gypsy King delivered a masterclass, completely overawing Wilder and leaving his opponent bloodied and bruised before his corner threw in the towel in the seventh round.

Boxing fans will now be hoping to see Fury take on compatriot Anthony Joshua – holder of the IBF, WBA and WBO belts – in a heavyweight unification bout.

A Joshua-Fury match might take a while, however, if Wilder decides to trigger his option of a third bout.

A former cruiserweight world champion, David Haye, believes Wilder will have no interest in a trilogy given the comprehensive nature of his defeat in Las Vegas.

He said, “I am very sure the clause for a third fight won’t be exercised. That won’t be realised 100 per cent because what chance does Wilder have what more can he do next time?”

All of Joshua’s titles will be up for grabs if he squares up with Fury.

Promoter, Eddie Hearn, has already teased a unification fight.

Asked about his next fight, with Wilder having a rematch clause, Fury told iFL TV that he would love to concentrate on ‘enjoying the spoils of war’.

Later asked if he would fight Joshua if Wilder declines the trilogy fight, Fury told Behind The Gloves: “If Deontay don’t want the rematch, then let’s go AJ.”

Wilder has 30 days to trigger a trilogy fight.
