South Africans and other internet users have applauded a kind man who uses his time to carry kids over a river to keep them safe and dry.
On Monday, social media user Quinton Ngoato shared an inspiring photo of a man named Lazarus Reason Phiri. Phiri was photographed carrying a school child over a stream in the early hours of the morning .
Ngoato revealed Phiri helps learners from Mathibela Village to cross over to school. Wotzup.ng learned that it is not Phiri’s job and he does it out of the kindness of his heart.
Phiri wakes up early, puts on his coat and helps the kids across the river.
The caption of Ngoato’s post reads: “Mr Phiri Helping Learners from Mathibela Village to cross over to School. This is not his Job but due to kindness to Humanity He woke up Very Early got his Rain Coat on to help Children to Cross over this River so they can go to School.
