A trailer accident in Ketu has caused heavy gridlock on Ikorodu Road leaving motorists and commuters stranded.
The accident is believed to have occurred in the early hours of Tuesday.
Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) also said in a tweet that a mass transit bus broke down at the Mile12 pedestrian bridge compounding the traffic situation in the area.
Lagosians have poured their frustration on Twitter.
