widow of late basketball star Kobe Bryant — shared video Saturday of their youngest daughter Capri standing up for the first time.
With a little assistance from her aunt, Capri — whose nickname is Koko, as her middle name is Kobe — is seen pulling herself up off of her play mat.
“Wooooooo! Good job, Koko!” Vanessa gushes as Capri gives the camera a huge smile and several giggles.
“My Koko Bean,” Vanessa captioned the video. “She looks just like my Gigi. ☀️❤️auntie Ri-Ri. #7months.”
Kobe and Vanessa’s 13-year-old daughter Gianna “Gigi” Bryant, died alongside her father and seven others during a fatal helicopter crash last month. The couple also shares daughters Natalia, 17, and Bianka, 3.
Vanessa Bryant also posted a heartfelt announcement to spread the word about the Lakers legend’s public memorial service on Instagram Friday.
“A celebration of life Kobe & Gianna Bryant 2.24.20,” she posted, in the form of an e-card decorated with butterflies.
