Jude Idada’s Boom Boom has been declared winner of the 2019 NLNG Nigeria Prize for Literature.
The award comes with a prize of $100,000.
Two other books – Dunni Olatunde’s Mystery at Ebenezer Lodge and O. T. Begho’s The Great Wall of Benin – made the final.
A screenwriter, producer and actor, Idada was a runner-up of The Nigeria Prize for Literature in 2014 (Drama).
