Some white men allegedly attacked in Lagos yesterday during the protest against South African-owned companies in Nigeria over the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.
There had been calls across social media for a boycott of the activities of companies with South African origin and then protests were planned across the federation against these companies.
Unfortunately these protests went out of hand and led to massive looting in these mega shops and eventual attacks on people of foreign origin.
In the video, the alleged white men were singled out in the traffic on the Lekki-Epe Express and their vehicle was being vandalized by touts who obviously hijacked the protest for their on selfish gains.
The men had to alight from the vehicle and escaped the scene to save their lives, after which the touts made attempt to steal valuables from the abandoned vehicle.

They were eventually dispersed by the Police.
There were concerns on social media on the actual origin of the white men as there is high probability they are not South Africans and there is also the likeliness they are Americans, which might escalate the situation into a diplomatic row between the two countries if anything happened to them, being citizens of the most powerful nation in the world.
