Kanu announced his safe arrival via his handle on micro-blogging website, Twitter.

The pro-Biafra group announced a sit-at-home on May 30 for the remembrance of those that died during the Nigeria-Biafra civil war that lasted for three years (1967 – 1970)

The IPOB leader who reiterated his earlier call for a sit-at-home across ‘Biafraland’ also stated that “the duty to honour our fallen heroes is a task we must accomplish.

Kanu wrote:
