Immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has congratulated Governor Kayode Fayemi on his emergence as chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF).
Fayemi’s emergence was announced Wednesday night.
Fayose, who has been critical of Fayemi’s activities, in a tweet on Thursday congratulated him, saying that his election was ‘well deserved’ despite their political differences.

He said:
“I congratulate Gov Kayode Fayemi on his appointment and elevation as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF). It is well deserved for you and the entire people of Ekiti. Politics will come and go, but Ekiti State will remain eternal. Once again, you have my best wishes,”
