Femi Fani-Kayode has condemned the arrest of Senator Ademola Adeleke (PDP-Osun West) by operatives of the bread.

The Nigeria Police have detained the governorship candidate of the PDP in the 2018 election in Osun state, Senator Ademola Adeleke (PDP-Osun West).
In a statement on Monday, the campaign organisation said Adeleke had honoured an invitation at the force headquarters in Abuja before he was detained.
Reacting in a post on Twitter, Fani-Kayode called on President Muhammadu Buhari to order the release of Adeleke.

“BUHARI, FOR GOD SAKE, STOP THIS MADNESS AND LEAVE DEMOLA ADELEKE ALONE! DETAINING HIM WILL NOT HELP YOU.
“WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT HE WILL BE SWORN IN AS GOVERNOR OF OUR BELOVED OSUN STATE.
IMOLE TI DE! YOU WILL NOT AND CANNOT ROB THE PEOPLE OF OSUN OR DENY THEM THEIR CHOICE!”
