Governor Aminu Tambuwal, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, has been reelected governor of Sokoto state, northern Nigeria.
The nation’s main opposition party polled 512,002 votes in total to defeat the APC’s Ahmad Aliyu who got 511,661.
