Prophet T.B Joshua Sends ‘Strong Warning’ To Nigerians Ahead Of 2019 Polls [Video]

The founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (Scoan), Prophet T.B Joshua, has warned Nigerians that “those who will cause trouble” during the forthcoming elections in the country will “see trouble”.

Prophet Joshua made this statement during the church service at Scoan headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, on Sunday, February 10.

The clergyman who also said “those who will cause peace” during the election will “see peace”, added that Nigerians will have greater cause to “respect God” after the elections.

His words:

“I want to tell you that no matter the situation, be calm; God is in control,” Ihechukwu Njoku, a freelance Nigerian journalist, quoted Joshua to have counselled congregants on Sunday.
“Those who will cause trouble will see trouble and those who will cause peace will see peace,” he continued, detailing that the aftermath of the election would ‘look very fearful’.
“You will see the clouds so dark as if it’s about to rain – but suddenly the dark cloud disappears,” he figuratively depicted, saying Nigerians would have greater cause to “respect God” after the elections.
“If anything happens to this country called Nigeria, that is the end of Africa,” he said, explaining that Africa’s most populous nation “has a very strong bond with God”.
“If the people of Nigeria want to cause trouble, they will cause trouble for themselves but the nation of Nigeria will stand,” the Prophet Joshua concluded.
The warning is coming after the clergyman had called on Nigerians last year to pray against “the interruption of the democratic practice” in Nigeria.
During the service, the Prophet said God gave him the message three times, noting that he had kept it to himself but decided to share it after he received the message the third time.
The clergyman said the first time, he received the message in a dream but on receiving it the second and third time, he had to seek the assistance of his congregation to pray for Nigeria.
“Pray against the interruption of the democratic practice,” he had said.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Presidential election is slated for February 16 with Atiku Abubakar hoping to unseat President Muhammadu Buhari who is seeking a second term in office on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party.
