Manchester United have agreed a deal to sell Marouane Fellaini to Chinese side Shandong Luneng.
The Red Devils will receive £10million for the Belgian midfielder, who has fallen out of favour under caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and been deemed surplus to requirements by the club.
Fellaini, 31, has passed a medical and been given permission to discuss terms with Shandong, who have reached an agreement in principle with United.
He is set to ink a £200,000-a-week deal with the Chinese Super League side, earning him £10million-a-year after tax.
The deal is subject to final agreement between the two clubs, but United anticipate no problems to it progressing.
That will end the ex-Everton man’s five-and-a-half year stint at Old Trafford, having been signed by David Moyes for £27million in 2013.
