The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has arrived the capital of the United States of America, Washington, D.C.

Atiku tweeted this on Thursday evening at 8.27pm West African Time via his verified Twitter handle, @atiku.

The ex-Vice President is in company with Senate President Bukola Saraki, as revealed by the photograph that accompanied the tweet.

Signed in Atiku’s initials AA, the presidential hopeful said he is in Washington, D.C. for “meeting with US government officials, Nigerians living in D.C metropolis and the business community.”
