First Bank Announces Early Closure Of Branches December 31st

Nigeria’s premier and most valuable bank, First Bank has announced early closure of all its branches nationwide on Monday, December 31st, 2018 to enable it complete the cash account exercise for 2018 financial year.

In an emailed notice to its customers, the financial institution said it would close in all its branches nationwide by 2pm.

The notice read:

“Seasons greetings and a splendid new year ahead.

As we close the financial year 2018, please be informed that at all our office locations will close at 2pm on Monday 31st December 2018.

Please be assured that you can still bank with us through out alternative channels”


The lender also urged its customers to make use of its *894# USSD banking code for transactions like airtime recharge, money transfer and cash withdrawal.
