David Adedeji Adeleke A.KA. Davido has announced the location for his end-of-the-year show in Lagos.
The 26-year-old revealed the location in a post on Instagram on Monday.
“27TH!!!! WHOS READY!??? TICKETS OUT 2MORO!!!!,” he wrote.
The highly anticipated music fest tagged City of David is set to hold at the Ocean View Grounds, Eko Hotel Plot B, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The move to the more spacious area was necessitated by last year’s edition which was held at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre and was reportedly sold out in minutes.
Davido had accused the management of Eko Atlantic City of denying him use of the choice location as the venue for his show.
He made allusions in a tweet in November to political powers attempting to sabotage his show because of his support for his uncle Ademola Adeleke who was the Osun Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate.
The managers of Eko Atlantic City, South EnergyX Nigeria denied Davido’s claim, describing the allegation as false.
They said that they received Davido’s request to use the Eko Atlantic City and responded with a request for further information from the musician.
The information according to the managers never came.
