Meanwhile, Jorginho once again plays as the defensive midfielder with N’Golo Kante to his right and on the left Mateo Kovacic also makes his first start.

Eden Hazard starts his first game under Maurizio Sarri as Chelsea look to make it three wins out of three to give them the perfect beginning to the 2018/19 Premier League campaign.

The Blues take on Newcastle United this afternoon having not won at St James’ Park since 2011 when Andre Villas-Boas was in charge, and they will be looking to right the wrong of the awful 3-0 defeat last season.

Hazard has not started a game yet this season under the new boss as he gets back to full fitness following the World Cup, however now he is ready to start from the very beginning as he plays on the left of the three in place of Willian.

The back four remains the same with Kepa Arrizabalaga in goal and Marcos Alonso, Antonio Rudiger, David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta sit in front of him.

Meanwhile, Jorginho once again plays as the defensive midfielder with N’Golo Kante to his right and on the left Mateo Kovacic also makes his first start.

After his goal against Arsenal, Alvaro Morata once again leads the attack while Pedro will start on the right trying to net for the third match in a row after a superb start to the campaign for the Spaniard.

Chelsea loanee Kenedy is not allowed to play for Newcastle this afternoon, however the Brazilian was also lucky to avoid a suspension after kicking out at Cardiff’s Victor Camarasa in the Magpies’ previous match.
